I cook shit that I can make fairly easily. Looking up a recipe is too much work. Just throw some shit together.
Pasta e olio w/ a side of mozzarella and tomato.
finely chopped some onion and a garlic clove. Cooked it on very low heat in Olive Oil while I was boiling my water. Turned it up a bit while cooking the thin pasta, not too high or you burn the garlic and it gets bitter. Toss in some chopped tomato a few minutes out and put in the chopped fresh basil just before it’s done. Salt and Pepper of course.
I pulled the pasta out of the water with tongs let it drain a few seconds and dumped it right in the pan with the other fixins. Toss and plate.
The side is basically the guts of a Tomato and Mozzarella sandwich. Basil, Mozzarella, salt, pepper, olive oil, tomato, and balsamic vinegar. Make it first and let it sit for a while.
Two notes.. ‘healty’ pasta tastes like shit. It’s not worth it. Also, this should take about 15 minutes from the time you start till the time you’re eating.
